In construction, BAFA® laid scrims are used from basement to roof. They keep double-sided adhesive tapes and foam tapes in shape and reinforce insulation materials and aluminium-faced insulation. Their air permeability makes them ideal for all materials that need to be vapour-permeable. Air and vapour barriers become more stable with laid scrims. For ecological building materials, BAFA® laid scrims made from natural fibre yarns are available.
