Car manufacturers value BAFA® laid scrims for two reasons: time savings and quality. Laid scrims perform a wide range of functions – in underbody and side panels, in headliners and in engine compartment sound insulation.
They save automotive suppliers considerable time in converting and give moulded parts the stability they need. Double-sided adhesive tapes used to attach air and acoustic seals are also reinforced with laid scrims.
